1. Who we are

The data controller is Dental Team Šalja (also trading as Dentist Dubrovnik), a dental practice located in Dubrovnik, Croatia. We are a family-run practice providing dental care to local and international patients.

2. Information we collect

We only collect information you voluntarily provide to us. This is limited to:

• Contact form submissions: your name, email address, phone number, message, and optionally the treatment you are interested in.
• Direct communications: information you share when contacting us by email, phone, or WhatsApp.

We do not collect any sensitive health data through this website. Medical records are handled separately under Croatian healthcare law.

3. How we use your information

We use your information solely to:

• Respond to your enquiry and provide you with information about our treatments and pricing.
• Schedule and manage your appointments.
• Follow up on your treatment as needed.

We will never use your information for marketing without your explicit consent, and we will never sell your data to third parties.

4. Legal basis for processing

We process your personal data on the following legal bases under Article 6 of the GDPR:

• Pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b)): responding to your enquiry and preparing a treatment plan constitutes steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
• Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): following up on your enquiry where we have a genuine business interest in doing so, balanced against your privacy rights.

5. How long we keep your data

If you submit an enquiry but do not become a patient, we retain your contact information for up to 12 months in case you wish to follow up.

If you become a patient, your records are retained in accordance with Croatian healthcare regulations (generally 10 years from the date of your last treatment).

You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Your Rights below), subject to our legal obligations.

6. Who we share your data with

We do not share your personal data with third parties for marketing or commercial purposes. We may share data with:

• Our website host (Cloudflare): this website is hosted on Cloudflare's infrastructure. Cloudflare may process technical data (such as IP addresses) as part of delivering the site. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
• Google Analytics: we use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymous data about how visitors use this website (pages visited, session duration, general location by country). This data is sent to Google and may be stored on servers in the United States. Google Analytics does not identify you personally and we do not link analytics data to your contact form submissions. • Authorities: where we are legally required to disclose information to Croatian or EU authorities.

7. Your rights under GDPR

As a data subject, you have the following rights:

• Right of access: you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Right to rectification: you can ask us to correct inaccurate data.
• Right to erasure: you can ask us to delete your data, subject to our legal retention obligations.
• Right to restriction: you can ask us to limit how we process your data in certain circumstances.
• Right to data portability: you can request your data in a machine-readable format.
• Right to object: you can object to processing based on legitimate interests.
